BOYS BASKETBALL

GAME OF THE NIGHT

Raft River 56, Murtaugh 55

A tense battle between 2A Snake River Conference rivals Raft River and Murtaugh wasn’t decided until the final 30 seconds of play. Ren Udy scored on a layup with 20 seconds remaining to push the Trojans ahead 56-55. Murtaugh’s Max Utley and Will Nebeker each had a chance to score the winning points on the Red Devils’ possession, but their shots fell short. Both teams are now 3-3 in conference play. Raft River is 3-4 overall, while Murtaugh is 3-6.

PRIME-TIME PERFORMER

Hagerman’s Martin Gonzalez registered a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Pirates surged past Sun Valley Community School 81-36.
